Speedboard debuted its first commercial stand up paddle board (SUP) design this weekend at the O’Neill Fall Classic Paddle Board Race at South Lake Tahoe, CA.

Bob Blair, founder of Speedboard, was pleased with the day’s work from everyone on the team,

“Will Rich is the captain of our race team and an avid SUP racer and we’re proud to say he completed the 22-mile point-to-point SUP race on Sunday, starting from the Camp Richardson Marina, in South Lake Tahoe, and finishing at Kings Beach at the State Beach.”

Speaking from the race, Bob went on to say,

“A lot of planning and long hours fostered the design and innovation of our first prototype board. Will’s skill as an established racer, coupled with the board’s state-of-the-art, performance-driven design, combined for a successful unveiling.”
